A Walk Down Memory Lane
But we need to realize that the future is a collection of nows….So enjoy every moment and relax.” Here's what i found out from reminiscing.

Reading. Writing. Thinking. Believing.

Reading – I started reading as a child, imitating my mother. By Secondary School, I was saving up all I could to buy books. Femi Osofisan, Thomas Hardy. Arundhati Roy’s beautiful The God of Small Things holds a place in my heart as the first hard-cover novel I ever purchased.
Writing – Some of my earliest memories feature me putting many sheets of paper together. I’d get a yellow cardboard, cut it out and clothe the paper. I had a book! I’d name the book something unimportant “Baba Wusi and his four wives” Then I’d begin writing my Acknowledgements, Dedication and if you sat with me, I’d tell you “I am working on my book” Now, some sixteen years, I still put to pen to paper although I skip writing acknowledgements and foreword.
Thinking – I have been accused of having eyes that observe, that read people like books. I sit often to mull over the words I’ve heard. An old habit. It is as much a part of me as reading and writing.
Believing – “that whosoever believes in him shall never perish but have eternal life” My faith in Christ is not something I hide. It’s in my words and the way I think. And if you listen carefully, you’ll hear the light of God’s word peeking from behind my words even when I’m talking about food.
What else? That’s enough for a start.
